Britain’s Halle Orchestra Announces New Assistant Conductor

The Halle Orchestra has today announced the appointment of Jonathan Hayward as their new Assistant Conductor.
The Halle Orchestra, in Manchester, UK has today announced the appointment of 23 year old American-born, Jonathan Hayward as their new Assistant Conductor.
A graduate of the Boston Conservatory and the Royal Academy of Music, he is a former 1st prize winner at the Besancon International Conducting Competition.
Jonathan currently serves as Associate Conductor with the Hampstead Garden Opera - and has recently been invited to conduct the Orchestre National de Bordeaux-Aquitaine, Sinfonieorchester Basel, Prague Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de l’Opéra de Rouen and the Philharmonie Zuidnederland.
He will succeed Jamie Philips in the role.
