SAD NEWS | British Violinist and Pianist Bob Simians Has Passed Away

Former Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Scottish National Orchestra violinist Bob Simians has died

British violinist and pianist Bob Simians has died.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied with Robert Masters and Beatrix Marr, Bob was a former member of the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Scottish National Orchestra.

His violin students included eminent conductor, Simon Rattle - and he worked as an accompanist with violinist Nicola Benedetti in her formative years.

Our condolences are with Mr Simians' family, friends, colleagues and students.
