The Ann Arbor Symphony has announced the appointment of South Korean-Canadian cellist Caroline Kim as its new Principal Cellist
The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, in Ann Arbor, Michigan has today announced the appointment of South Korean-Canadian cellist Caroline Kim as its new Principal Cellist - effective immediately.
A recent Doctoral graduate from the University of Michigan, Caroline has served as a section member with the ensemble since 2016.
She had previously performed as Principal Cellist of the Juilliard Orchestra - and as Assistant Principal Cellist of the Aspen Music Festival Orchestra.
Caroline was selected from 18 national and international applicants for the position, the orchestra's management has today indicated.
