SAD NEWS | Armenian-American Cellist Vagram Saradjian Has Died - Age 70 [RIP]

Armenian-born American cellist Vagram Saradjian has passed away - aged 70

Armenian-born American cellist Vagram Saradjian has passed away - aged 70.

A student of Mstislav Rostropovich at the Moscow Conservatory, Mr Saradjian is a former major prize winner at the Tchaikovsky and Geneva International Cello Competitions.

He served long term teaching positions on faculty at Oberlin Conservatory, Connecticut College, Purchase Conservatory and Queens College's Aaron Copland School of Music.

Our condolences are with Mr Saradjian's family, friends, students and colleagues.
