Christian Tetzlaff Cancels Carnegie Hall Concert to Play Dad

Violinist Christian Tetzlaff has withdrawn from his upcoming appearance at Carnegie Hall - due to the imminent birth of his child.
It has been announced today that German violin virtuoso, Christian Tetzlaff has withdrawn from his appearance at the Annual Isaac Stern Memorial Concert, to be held at New York’s Carnegie Hall on Saturday 9th April - due to the imminent birth of his child.
He will be replaced by Canadian violinist, James Ehnes.
James will perform Brahms’ 3 piano quartets, in G Minor, A Major and C Minor - with violist Tabea Zimmermann, cellist Clemens Hagen and pianist Leif Ove Andsnes.
