Cleveland Orchestra Announces Landmark Partnership with 2014 Gay Games

The Cleveland Orchestra has today announced its community arts partnership with the 2014 Gay Games – to be held in Ohio, USA from the 9-16th of August.
The Orchestra will perform a special opening concert, entitled 'Broadway Standing Ovations', including Broadway highlights from 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'Wicked', 'Rent' and 'Les Miserables' - plus an all-Beethoven programme on August 15th at Severance Hall - featuring pianist Orion Weiss.
The Gay Games are open to all adults, regardless of sexual orientation or athletic ability - and will attract more than 20,000 visitors, from over 50 countries to the region.
