Wyoming Symphony Announces New 27-Year-Old Music Director
The Wyoming Symphony has announced the appointment of Australian conductor Christopher Dragon as its new Music Director
The Wyoming Symphony, in Casper, Wyoming, United States has this week announced the appointment of 27-year-old Australian conductor Christopher Dragon as its new Music Director – effective from the commencement of the 2019-2020 season.
“The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra is overjoyed to welcome the vibrant, young conductor Christopher Dragon to Casper and eager to introduce his bright energy, distinct talent and creativity to the Wyoming community ...” Wyoming Symphony Executive Director Rachel Bailey has this week said.
“We feel he is the perfect candidate for our burgeoning arts scene and will take the WSO to the next level,” she has said.
Christopher previously served as Assistant Conductor with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, in Perth, Australia - and currently serves as Associate Conductor of the Colorado Symphony.
