The Orchestre Régional Avignon Provence has announced the appointment of Brazilian-Israeli conductor Debora Waldman as its new Music Director

The Orchestre Régional Avignon Provence, in Avignon, France has this week announced the appointment of Brazilian-Israeli conductor Debora Waldman as its new Music Director - effective from September 2020.

A graduate of Paris' Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique, Debora served as Assistant Conductor to Kurt Masur at the Orchester National de France - and has previously lead performances with the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Orchestre National de Lille, Orchestre de l’Opéra de Rouen, Orchestre National de Lyon and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo.
