Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra — First Concertmaster

Applications to this role will close on November 5, 2023, with the live auditions to begin on December 4, 2023

The successful candidate will join one other concertmaster in leading the 67 musicians of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra. 

The three live audition rounds will be held on December 4, 2023 from 10 AM at the Musikhuset København. The fourth round with the orchestra will be held on December 5th, 2023 at the Konservatoriets Koncertsal in Frederiksberg, Denmark.

The position’s salary and conditions will be negotiable with the musicians’ current agreement in the Danish Regional Orchestras (LandsdelsOrkestrene). Employment of non-EU residents is contingent upon the attainment of a valid work and residence permit.

On November 9, 2023, candidates will either be notified of a direct invitation to round one, or be required to submit a YouTube link with the first round repertoire.

The works on the link must be recorded in one take and submitted by November 22 — the candidates in this round will be informed if they have been invited to round one by November 27.
