COVID-19 Outbreak in La Scala Theatre Ballet

35 dancers of the Corps de Ballet and 3 staff members tested positive for the virus at the Milan-based ballet company

Two live streams from the venue have been postponed due to a recent COVID-19 outbreak. At least 38 people have tested positive after 1 case of the virus was discovered on February 26. Rehearsals have also been suspended until further notice.

In late 2020, the La Scala Opera House faced a surge in COVID cases amongst its chorus and orchestra. However, members of the chorus and orchestra have all tested negative during the most recent outbreak.
