Cleveland Orchestra Announces New Section Cellist

The Cleveland Orchestra's Music Director, Franz Welser-Most has today announced the appointment of 31 year old American cellist, Dane Johansen as the ensemble’s newest section member.

A graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, Conservatoire de Paris and the Juilliard School, Dale has served previously on teaching faculty of the Juilliard Pre-College - and as a member of the acclaimed Escher String Quartet.
