The Teatro dell'Opera di Roma has announced the appointment of Italian conductor Daniele Gatti as its new Music Director

The Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, in Rome, Italy has today announced the appointment of Italian conductor Daniele Gatti as its new Music Director - effective immediately.

In August of this year, the 57-year-old was terminated from his position as Chief Conductor of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, in Amsterdam - after a series of allegations of inappropriate behavior were raised.
