SAD NEWS | Danish Composer Ib Nørholm Has Died - Aged 88 [RIP]

Danish composer and organist Ib Nørholm has passed away - aged 88

Danish composer and organist Ib Nørholm has passed away - aged 88.

A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Music, where he studied with Vagn Holmboe, Mr Nørholm was a former recipient of the prestigious Gaudeamus International Composers Award and the Carl Nielsen Prize.

A longtime Professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, his output of work included 12 symphonies - plus a large body of solo and chamber works.

Our condolences are with Mr Nørholm's family, friends, colleagues and students.
