Domingo, Lang Lang and Ana Maria Martinez to Feature in World Cup Finale

Spanish tenor Placido Domingo, Chinese pianist Lang Lang, soprano Ana Maria Martinez – and conductor Eugene Kohn and the Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira, have been announced among the lineup for the World Cup football Grand Finale Concert in Rio de Janeiro – on 11th July.

It will be the sixth time 73 year old Domingo has sung before a World Cup final.

"I always think music and sport are the two great things many people can understand without any need to really speak the language," Domingo, a lifelong football fan, has said.
