The then 19-year-old double bass virtuoso, VC Young Artist Xavier Foley‘s 1st prize winning performance in the Senior Final of the 2014 Sphinx Competition – in Detroit, United States.

19-year-old cellist Sterling Elliott was this week awarded 1st prize in the Senior Division of the 2019 22nd Sphinx Competition.
