Dutch composer and music pedagogue Hans Kox has passed away - aged 88

Dutch composer and music pedagogue Hans Kox has passed away - aged 88.

A piano and composition graduate of the Utrecht and Amsterdam Conservatories, Mr Kox was a former recipient of the Municipality of Amhem Prize, the Municipality of Amsterdam Prize and the Prix Italia.

His body of work included 6 symphonies, 4 violin concertos and a cello concerto.

Out condolences are with Mr Kox's family, friends and colleagues.
