English pianist and composer Malcolm Lipkin has passed away - aged 85

English pianist and composer Malcolm Lipkin has passed away - aged 85.

A prodigy of Hungarian composer Matyas Seiber, his major contributions to the string repertoire include 2 violin concerti, 2 sonatas for violin and piano, a string trio - and a ‘Variations on a Theme of Bartok’ for string quartet.
