The Modigliani Quartet has today announced the appointment of French violinist Amaury Coeytaux as their new leader
The Paris-based Modigliani String Quartet has today announced the appointment of French violinist Amaury Coeytaux as their new leader.
A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris and the Manhattan School of Music, Amaury is a former 1st prize winner at the Lipizer International Violin Competition and the Stulberg International String Competition - and has served perviously as Concertmaster of the Orchestre d’Auvergne and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.
He will replace founding member Philipp Bernhard - who will step down from the ensemble, after 13 seasons, to pursue other musical opportunities.
