It has been announced today that Welsh cellist Gwyneth George has passed away - aged 95.

A student of Ivor James, Enrico Mainardi and Paul Tortelier, she served a long term teaching Professorship at London’s Trinity College of Music.

Our condolences are with Ms George’s family, friends, colleagues and students.
