Prizes Awarded at Poland’s Tadeusz Wroński Solo Violin Competition
24-year-old Issei Kurihara from Japan was today awarded 1st prize at the 2020 Tadeusz Wroński Solo Violin Competition, in Warsaw, Poland
A student of Takashi Shimizu, Issei is a former top prize winner at the Rodolfo Lipizer, Beethoven and Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competitions. He will receive €25,000.

2nd and 3rd prizes were awarded to 29-year-old Aleksandra Kuls-Koziak from Poland and 21-year-old Sara Dragan from Poland. 4th and 5th prizes were awarded to 25-year-old Roksana Kwaśnikowska from Poland and 13-year-old Mateusz Izdebski from Poland.
