The Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra Announces New Concertmaster

The Radio France Philharmonic has announced the appointment of 32-year-old South Korean violinist Ji-Yoon Park as its new concertmaster

The Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra has today announced the appointment of 32-year-old South Korean violinist Ji-Yoon Park as its new concertmaster.

A graduate of the Paris Conservatoire and the Mozarteum University Salzburg, where she studied with Roland Daugareil and Igor Ozim, Ji-Yoon is a former prize winner at the Tibor Varga, Long-Thibaud and Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competitions.

She currently serves as concertmaster of the National Orchestra of the Pays de la Loire - and performs internationally as a member of the Trio Jade.

Ji-Yoon will serve an initial 4-month trial period in the leadership position.
