American violinist and teacher Jocelyn Gertel has been killed in a cycling accident in Hawthorne, New Jersey

American violinist and teacher Jocelyn Gertel has been killed in a cycling accident in Hawthorne, New Jersey.

A violin performance graduate of the University of Michigan and the Manhattan School of Music, she had served as a teacher with the New Jersey, Paramus School District Board of Education for more than 20 years.
