The Polish-based Szymanowski Quartet has announced the appointment of Polish cellist Karol Marianowski to the ensemble
The Polish-based Szymanowski Quartet has this week announced the appointment of Polish cellist Karol Marianowski to the ensemble – effective immediately.
A graduate of Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music and the Boston Conservatory, where he studied with Tomasz Strahl, Kazimierz Michalik, Andrzej Bauer, and Andrew Mark, Karol will replace cellist Monika Leskovar.
"I am looking forward to a new chapter of musical journey with the Szymanowski Quartet ... my heart is filled with so much passion and love for chamber music and I am incredibly happy and privileged I can continue performing now in one of the best string quartets in the world,” Karol has this week told The Violin Channel.
