Acclaimed American opera singer Kristine Ciesinski has been killed in a scenic glider accident in the Grand Teton National Park - aged 65
It has been reported today that American world-class opera singer, soprano Kristine Ciesinski has been killed in a scenic glider accident in the Grand Teton National Park, in the United States - aged 65.
Over her career spanning more than forty years, Kristine performed with renowned organisations - including La Scala, Paris Opera, Frankfurt Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, English National Opera, Teatro Carlo Felice, Marinsky Theater, Cincinnati Opera, San Francisco Opera and New York's Metropolitan Opera.

It’s understood the Grant Treton Park rangers recovered two bodies via a long-line aerial operation, yesterday afternoon, after the aircraft failed to return to its base.
The name of the second occupant, a passenger in the glider, has not been released - until next of kin notifications have been completed.
Kristine was married to British bass-baritone Norman Bailey.
