17 year old German VC Young Artist Lara Boschkor has been awarded 1st prize at the 2017 Tonali Violin Competition

17 year old German VC Young Artist Lara Boschkor has been awarded 1st prize at the 2017 Tonali Violin Competition - in Hamburg, Germany.

A student of Erik Schumann at the Kronberg Academy, Lara is a former 1st prize winner at the Jeunesses, Szeryng, Flesch and Johansen International Violin Competitions.

She will receive €10,000.

2nd prize, and this year’s audience prize, was awarded to 16 year old violinist Anne Maria Wehrmeyer from Germany.

3rd prize was awarded to 18 year old Elene Meipariani from Germany.
