In this series, Lawrence Power performs ten newly-commissioned short works for solo viola on the rooftops of iconic London music venues

This week, British violist Lawrence Power released a new installment of his viola project: ‘Lockdown Commissions'.

In this the fourth episode, Lawrence performs the world premiere of "Daylonging, Slacktide" by composer Cassandra Miller.

"This is a piece about longing to reconnect with others, and about the experience of time holding still, endless hours without signposts," Cassandra said.
