Country of Luxembourg Will Commission New Works for Orchestras

The Ministry of Culture in Luxembourg is calling for applications of new works for the 2021-22 season

Partners and orchestras that are participating in this new opportunity include the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra, the National Jazz Orchestra, Ars Nova Luxembourg, among many others.

The initiative will stimulate the creation of more musical projects by a variety of Luxembourg-based composers, using a multitude of different ensembles.

Applicants must include a cover letter, artistic CV, a description of the theme and musical style of their submission piece, and excerpts of any previously written works.

Applications are due April 15, 2021.
