The San Francisco-based curators, Mercury Soul and composer and electronic music DJ Mason Bates' new episode of their virtual mini-series
Filmed at the Saint Joseph’s Arts Society, in San Francisco, the 4–part series features meditative music and electronica, highlighting the seamless alternation between classical music and DJing.
Each episode highlights solo and chamber music performances, ranging in repertoire from new works by composers Anna Clyne, Jóhann Jóhannsson and Dale Trumbore to Bach to Debussy to Indian to Chinese folk music.
This episode presents the music of Jules Massanet, Mason Bates, and traditional Chinese folk song.
