VERY SAD NEWS | Missing Athens Camerata Violist Found Dead

The body of Athens Camerata violist, Elisabeth Schaefer, missing since March 18th has been found deceased

It has been announced today that the body of Athens Camerata violist, Elisabeth Schaefer has been found deceased near the Kessariani Monastery Forest, in Greece.

As reported on The Violin Channel, the German-born musician, who had served with the ensemble since 1991, left a rehearsal on March 18th following an disagreement with another orchestral member and had not been seen since.

Greek police have stressed at this stage they are keeping an open mind surrounding the case.
