VC Artist Nikita Boriso-Glebsky Signs with New North American Management Representation

The Russian-born violinist has signed with the New York-based arts management group Primavera Consulting for North American management

A renowned violinist who regularly performs with major orchestras around the world, Boriso-Glebsky has yet to perform much in North America — which will likely change with the signing.

He will be represented by Primavera Consulting founder and managing director Anastasia Boudanoque.

A graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth, and the Kronberg Academy, Boriso-Glebsky is a former major prize winner at the Tchaikovsky, Monte-Carlo, Joseph Joachim, David Oistrakh, Montreal, Fritz Kreisler, Queen Elisabeth, and Jean Sibelius International Violin Competitions. 

“I am thrilled to start exploring this important new territory with Primavera Consulting at such a historic time," Boris-Glebsky said. "America has a rich musical past and an inspiring present, and I cannot wait to contribute to it, to play for its warm and adventurous audiences, to collaborate with its outstanding musicians."

Anastasia Boudanoque told The Violin Channel that the signing "is a very rare and thrilling opportunity to introduce a fully formed artist at the top of his game to a major territory," adding that she heard Boriso-Glebsky perform live a few months ago and felt that it was "immediately clear that he knows how to create that magic on stage."

Engagements for the upcoming season also include performances with the Lahti Symphony Orchestra and the Svetlanov Orchestra. As part of the new partnership with Primavera Consulting, Boriso-Glebsky is set to perform the world premiere of Eugène Ysaÿe's Violin Concerto in D minor — a handwritten score of the piece was discovered at Juilliard a few years ago. Boriso-Glebsky has recorded it with l'Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, but it has not yet been performed live.

Primavera Consulting also works with Misha Maisky, Tan Dun, and Leon Botstein, among other artists.

Boriso-Glebsky is currently represented internationally by the Larus classical music agency.
