Orchestre National de France has today announced 69 year old French conductor, Emmanuel Krivine as their new Music Director – effective from September 2017.

Maestro Krivine currently serves as Music Director of the Luxembourg Philharmonic, Principal Guest Conductor of the Barcelona Symphony and the Catalonia National Orchestra – and as Principal Conductor of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

He will replace Meastro Daniele Gatti who recently announced he will step down from the position – following his appointment as the new Chief Conductor of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
