BIS Records has announced the release of Swedish violinist Ulf Wallin's new album: Allan Pettersson Violin Concerto No. 2.

Recorded with conductor Christian Lindberg and the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, the disc features acclaimed Swedish composer Allan Pettersson's (1911-1980) 2nd Violin Concerto - coupled with his 17th Symphony.

''While I was still quite a young man, I came into contact with the composer Allan Pettersson’s music - which I found highly expressive and conceived on a grand scale ..." Ulf has told The Violin Channel.
