Sono Luminus has this month announced the release of American violinist Janet Sung's new album: Sung Sessions: Edge of Youth.
Recorded with pianist William Wolfram, the disc features Georges Enescu's Impressions d'enfance, Missy Mazzoli's Dissolve, O My Heart for Solo Violin, Britten's Suite for Violin and Piano, Dan Visconti's Rave-Up for Violin and Piano - and Gabriel Prokofiev's Sleeveless Scherzo for Solo Violin.
