BIS Records has this week announced the release of violinist, VC Young Artist Johan Dalene's new CD: 'Tchaikovsky & Barber Violin Concertos'.

Recorded with conductor Daniel Blendulf and the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, the disc features Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major - coupled with Barber's Violin Concerto Op. 14.

''The Tchaikovsky and Barber Concertos are pieces I truly love ..." Johan has told The Violin Channel.

"Being my first ever recording, I wanted to play pieces that I had performed a lot and being able to record these two fantastic violin concertos is a dream come true ...'" the 2019 Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition 1st prize winner has said.
