She currently serves a teaching position on faculty at Loyola University, in New Orleans

Today is Italian-born American violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg’s birthday.

A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School, Nadja is a former grand prize winner at the Naumburg International Violin Competition and a recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant.
