The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia has announced the appointment of American violinist Stephen Tavani as their new Concertmaster
The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia has today announced the appointment of 24 year old American violinist Stephen Tavani as their new Concertmaster.
A graduate of the Colburn School, in Los Angeles, Steven is currently completing graduate studies with Ida Kavafian and Arnold Steinhardt at the Curtis Institute of Music.
Stephen is a former semi-finalist at the Michael Hill and Sibelius International Violin Competitions - and has served as Guest Concertmaster with the Louisiana Philharmonic, the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Colburn Orchestra and the Youth Orchestra of Americas.
