Famed American classical pianist Peter Serkin has passed away from pancreatic cancer

Famed American classical pianist Peter Serkin has passed away from pancreatic cancer – aged 72.

Mr Serkin performed extensively internationally as a recitalist, chamber musician and soloist - and held teaching positions on faculty at the Curtis Institute of Music, Juilliard School, Yale University and Bard College Conservatory of Music.
