Piccolo Violino Magico's 2022 First-Prize Winner, Edna Unseld

The 2023 edition of the Piccolo Violino Magico Competition will be held from July 4—9, 2023, in San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy. Open to violinists of any nationality aged up to 13, the competition's first prize winner will receive €5,000 and an instrument made by contemporary Italian violin maker Fabio Piagentini.
A maximum of 18 candidates will be admitted to the competition. For the preselection, the jury, coordinated by Pavel Vernikov and Domenico Mason, will evaluate candidates’ videos.
The competition is organized into three rounds. During the first two rounds, the competitors will be accompanied by the Accademia d’Archi Arrigoni. During the final round, to take place at the Auditorium Comunale, in San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy, the competitors will be accompanied by FVG Orchestra.
Four competitors will be chosen for the final concert on July 9. Second prize will receive get €3,000, third prize € 2,000, and fourth prize € 1.000.
The jury will be chaired by Pavel Vernikov and comprise Koh Gabriel Kameda, Janne Malmivaara, Henja Semmler, George Tudorache, Robin Wilson, and Yamei Yu..
