Prizes Awarded at Austria's Inaugural Anna Kull International Cello Competition
Konstanze Pietschmann from Denmark has been awarded 1st prize in senior division at the inaugural 2020 Anna Kull International Cello Competition
Konstanze Pietschmann from Germany has this week been awarded 1st prize in senior division 18-19-year-old age category at the inaugural Anna Kull International Cello Competition - in Graz, Austria.
Joint 2nd prize was awarded to Willard Carter from Great Britain - and Petar Pejcic from Serbia.
Ettore Pagano from Italy was awarded 1st prize in the intermediate 16-17-year-old age category.
2nd and 3rd prizes were awarded to Philipp Schupelius from Germany - and Artyom Ioanisyan from Armenia.
Arne Zeller from Germany was awarded 1st prize in the junior division 14-15-year-old age category.
2nd and 3rd prizes were awarded to Elvis Herndl from Austria - and Anna Lugovkina from Russia.
The 2020 jury comprised: Anke Schittenhelm (Chair), Julian Arp, Wen-Sinn Yang, David Geringas, Gergely Mohl, Ditta Rohmann, Miloš Mlejnik and Monika Leskovar.
