Rare Violins of New York Moves to Carnegie Hall Tower Premises
The company has almost doubled the size of its offices with the move
Rare Violins of New York has signed a 10,799-square-foot lease in the Carnegie Hall Tower at 152 West 57th Street. The company was originally housed just one block away, at 37 West 57th Street.
The building is situated between the Avenue of the Americas and Seventh Avenue, and has an asking rent of $105 per square foot.
Founded in 2002 by Bruno Price and Ziv Arazi, Rare Violins of New York has gained international acclaim for their work providing high-quality instruments to professional players and collectors.
The company has sold some of the world's greatest instruments, and prides itself on offering instruments to serious players at all price points.
"Carnegie Hall Tower was a natural choice for the tenant and the landlord given the tenant’s clientele and its connection to performing arts," said Newmark’s Nathan Kropp, who represented the tenant with Stephen Gordon.
"The building’s features, including nearly column-free floor plates, sweeping Central Park views and abundant natural light, create a fitting environment where the tenant’s highly trained professionals can serve valued clients."
