Dutch Rubens String Quartet to Disband After 15 Seasons

The Holland-based Rubens String Quartet have today announced that the ensemble will disband at the end of the 2015/16 season – to allow its members to 'pursue other musical activities.'
‘The quartet has been at the centre of our professional lives since the year 2000 and we look back on those years with much gratefulness and satisfaction,' the ensemble have said, “... now we feel that it is the right time for us all to pursue other musical activities that will present us with interesting new challenges.’

The Quartet comprises violinists Sarah Kapustin and Tali Goldberg, violist Roeland Jagers and cellist Joachim Eijlander.
