SAD NEWS | Russian-American Violinist Abram Shtern Has Died – Aged 96

Russian-born American violinist Abram Shtern has passed away – aged 96.

Before emigrating to the United States in 1990, aged 71, Mr Shtern served as Concertmaster of the Shevchenko Opera and Ballet Orchestra for more than 42 years - and held a coveted Professorship at the Kiev State Conservatory.
