Russian violin virtuoso and composer Igor Frolov has passed away - aged 76

A student of Boris Belenky, Abram Yampolsky and David Oistrakh, Maestro Frolov was a former prize winner George Enescu and Marguerite Long and Jacques Thibaud International Violin Competitions - and served a distinguished teaching position at the Moscow Conservatory
