California’s Santa Cruz Symphony Announces New Concertmaster
The Santa Cruz Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of 26 year old American violinist, Nigel Armstrong as their new Concertmaster
The Santa Cruz Symphony Orchestra has today announced the appointment of 26 year old American violinist, Nigel Armstrong as their new Concertmaster - effective from the commencement of the 2016/2017 season.
A graduate of the Colburn School and the Curtis Institute of Music, Nigel is a former prize winner at the Tchaikovsky and Menuhin International Violin Competitions.
"I am greatly looking forward to making music with the Santa Cruz Symphony …," Nigel has told The Violin Channel.
"It’ll also be a joy to play a role in the Santa Cruz community ... I used to come with my grandparents when I was a child and I have many fond memories of this special and beautiful place," he has said.
