Finalists Announced at Austria’s Brahms International Viola Competition

Today, the competition, based in Pörtschach, Austria, announced the 3 candidates progressing to the final round

The 2020 Brahms International Viola Competition finalists are:

• Momoko Aritomi
• Takehiro Konoe
• Emiko Yuasa

Open to international violists aged between 14 and 40, the 1st prize winner will receive EUR 2500.

The 2020 jury comprises: Jerzy Kosmala, Gareth Lubbe, Alissa Margulis, Nora Romanoff-Schwarzberg and VC Artist Diyang Mei.
