Today is the 35th Annual International Tuba Day.

It is celebrated world over to acknowledge tubists - who have to go through the hassle of handling a tuba.

It serves not only to recognise the sheer annoyance of ensured weight and size - but too the prevalence of stereotyped attitudes towards tubists and their role within a musical organisation.
