The Toronto Symphony has announced the appointment of violinist Dasol Jeong and violist Ashley Vandiver to the ensemble
The Toronto Symphony, in Toronto, Canada, has this week announced the appointment of violinist Dasol Jeong and violist Ashley Vandiver to the ensemble.
A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, the Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music, Dasol will replace violinist Hyung-sun Paik - who retired from the orchestra at the end of the last season.
Ashley, who previously served in the violin section of the National Arts Center Orchestra, in Ottawa, will replace violist Kent Teeple.
She has performed both violin and viola internationally - including performances with the Knights, the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Canadian Opera Company.
