Colorado State University Professor of Music, bassoonist Gary Moody has been killed in a cycling accident - aged 62

Colorado State University Professor of Music, bassoonist Gary Moody has been killed in a cycling accident in Berthoud, Colorado, United States - aged 62.

Dr. Moody had served on the school's bassoon teaching faculty since 1997.

“Our faculty, staff and students who knew Dr. Moody are deeply feeling this loss … “ Colorado State University Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Benjamin Withers has said.

“The university extends its sincere condolences to Dr. Moody’s family and friends, and to his CSU family as well … he leaves behind a rich legacy in the memories of his colleagues and students,” he has said.
