Sony Classical has announced the release of the Trio Les Esprits' new CD: 'Schubert: Piano Trios, Fantasie and Arpeggione Sonata'

Sony Classical has this month announced the release of the Paris-based Trio Les Esprits' new CD: Schubert: Piano Trios, Fantasie and Arpeggione Sonata.

Comprising violinist Mi-sa Yang, cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière and pianist Adam Laloum, the disc features Schubert's Piano Trio No. 1 in B Flat Major and No. 2 in E Flat Major - coupled with Schubert's Fantasie in C Major for violin and piano and Arpeggione Sonata in A Minor for cello and piano.

''We have been playing these pieces by Schubert regularly since we met each other ... we have developed our interpretation naturally during the years - which made it very evident for us to want to do a recording ...' violinist Mi-sa Yang has told The Violin Channel.`

''If there is a chance that we give something to someone, our wish would be that we open the door to get to know more about Schubert - and his wonderful works," she has said.
