The festival closes with a landmark performance of Beethoven’s complete "Egmont" Symphony

We’re coming to you from Bard College Conservatory of Music, in New York, for the closing celebration of the China Now Music Festival “China’s Sage of Music.”

The new production by the China NCPA Orchestra was filmed this November in Beijing. Beethoven composed the Egmont Incidental Music in 1809-10 for the play of the same name by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
